Alabama!

I got accepted into the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at the University of Alabama!

When I read the email I couldn't stop bouncing in my chair.

Now, I still have to hear back from Kentucky, UNLV and Arizona State, but Alabama is one of my top choices. Life is great!

Oi.

Well, last week I was complaining about having to wait to hear from all the grad schools.

But then I heard from 1 school. And now 2...

At least I won't freeze to death.

Well I heard from NDSU today.

The good news is that I won't be freezing to death next winter in Fargo, ND.

It was, perhaps, the nicest rejection letter I've ever had though.

It was a little ironic, because I got the email while doing an exercise in one of my classes in which we write and discuss our plans in 5, 10, 30 years. As I had just finished writing about finishing grad school, I got an email letting me know I will not be going to one of the 5 places I applied. At least next year.

University of Alabama, University of Kentucky, North Dakota State University applications are submitted.

I just have to pay the fee for ASU, but it's $70 and I just have to bite the bullet, but don't want to yet.
