Mostly that's just Molly.
I am absolutely and completely in love with her and have been since November sometime.
But the process of convincing her into liking me has been just that, a process. Which is actually odd for me.
In May I did the unthinkable and took her home to meet my family. And I fell in love with her even more. We stopped at part of the Grand Canyon on the way back to Utah and took a picture.
Earlier this week I flew down from Boise to Salt Lake to meet her parents. To say it frankly, they didn't like me and I am terrified my heart is going to get broken.
I hate my life.

Oh Molly I am so happy that you exist. You certainly have a good one with that Quintin - he's a diamond in the rough. Your parents will see that sooner or later.
As for the parents... need I remind you what happened with poor Mason and my family? Parents don't mean anything (I mean, they mean the world) but when it comes to dating/love parents are only spectators who should be cheering on their child who they should trust unless that child does something to break that trust - which I'm sure with your Molly isn't the case.
I am beyond happy for you Quintin and I will pray for you to have peace and happiness at this time. But my heart has been raised about 3 degrees after reading this post.
I feel for you Q. My dad did not like Scott at all. In fact on my wedding day he told me he'd figure out a way to get us divorced and that we wouldn't last 6 months together on our own. But didn't matter, I stayed with Scott, and now...9 years later he's apologizing:P You and she just need to be happy...and if she is happy with you, just tell them that. What they say after they just need to deal with:)
Glad to hear you've got a girl (she's pretty, which helps! :P) - and try not to let the whole parents thing get you down. Like Jen said... her dad realllly didn't like me. Right after the ceremony he came out and told us both he would find a way to have it annulled, etc.
My mother hated Jen, as well, and advised me not to marry her. I didn't listen, obviously, and now my mom acts like she always wanted us to be together and it's the best thing ever.
Parents are overly protective and not really the best judge of who should be with their children. Hopefully Molly knows that.
I agree! Don't let it get to you. It'll probably be one of those things you look back on and laugh about! In the meantime, I am so happy for you! She's adorable! Just tell her parents if they need some references to call up me, Allison and Stephanie. We'll set them straight about our favorite Quintin! And to Molly- you have a great guy on your hands! Don't let him go! Good luck guys!!!!
First of all, you guys are adorable together! Second, if it's any consolation, my parents always HATED JC. I mean really hated him - not just disliked, despised. It's the main reason why we dated for 5 years before getting married. My dad even tried to set me up with his football buddies he met on Cougarboard! They only began to change their attitude about him when I told them we were engaged, and it was clear to them they if they made me choose between them and him, it was going to be him. It was awful, horrible, and painful to go through, but all good parents want their child to be happy, and when her parents realize she's happy, then they'll be happy for her. I wish you both the best. Good things can come of this. I promise.
I admire your authenticity. The kids loved talking to you tonight. We all agree that we LOVE the pic of you and Molly. I found Molly refreshing. You have great taste! btw, my inlaws didn't approve of me either. for the first 6 months, my name was lulabelle because they couldn't (or decided not to) remember my name. I think I have won their approval (and love and gratitude) now.
